Why consulting engineers work with us

Deliverables are built to be reopened and verified by a second professional registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) — your own reviewer, a regulator, or a peer on a contested project — with assumptions traced to a source and modelling choices documented, not just a coloured plan and a summary paragraph.

What a peer-review-level check covers
When we pick up modelling your team or another sub-consultant has already produced — whether as a formal peer review or as surge capacity taking over a live model — we work through the same checks regardless of who built it: catchment delineation and design-rainfall inputs against a source, model schematisation (cross-sections, structures, boundary conditions) against survey and as-builts, calibration or validation evidence where gauge or high-water-mark data exists, and whether stated assumptions actually match what the model does rather than what the report claims. Discrepancies here are the ones a regulator or opposing expert finds first, so we surface them to you before a submission goes out, not after.
For dam safety and PMF work specifically, the same logic extends to breach parameters and downstream routing assumptions, since a regulatory reviewer will trace those back to the design storm and dam-break method exactly as we do.

- Either. We are used to working as a named sub-consultant on your letterhead and project documentation, or as a visible specialist input depending on how your client engagement is structured — we scope this with you up front.
- Can you pick up a project mid-stream if our capacity changes?
